      Our Story

      Welcome to our restaurant and butchery. Our guiding philosophy is rooted in the tenants of tailored hospitality: to serve with kindness and delight.

      We are devoted to The Service Industry. As such, Dear is a thank you note, a love letter, an invitation to experience something memorable, something beautiful. Dear friends and family gathered around a brimming table; the tender and dear moments between life’s drudgery. We hope Dear becomes a home for those seeking refuge from the humdrum, or to celebrate something special.

      Under the guidance of our Executive Chef, Brian Young, the restaurant serves delicious food using the freshest seasonal ingredients. Brian comes to us from Boston by way of New Hampshire and Nashville. Classically trained but always evolving, he’s cooked at some of our favorites from back East, like Himmel Hospitality’s Harvest, Citizen Public House & Oyster Bar, Post 390, and Townsman. Last year, he battled courageously as a contestant on Season 16 of Top Chef in Louisville, Kentucky.

      An experienced butcher, Brian’s skills are put to good use at our in-house butchery. Visit Dear throughout the day for cuts of meat, sandwiches, soft-serve ice cream, and coffee.

      Our wine program is thoughtful and expansive, but approachable, guided by studied Sommelier, Austin Heidt.

      We offer private dining and special events, as well as a large outdoor patio during warmer months.
